I'll add support for latex (embedding it as an image) in the future.

Regarding plotly, I think that it would be possible to add the plots as images. This would be true for all objects that display as HTML in the notebook.

For the gif, use `Image(filename='animation.gif')`, though it should be possible to detect this automatically.
